
Here is a short video by Thomas DeLauer which discusses some of the science behind meditation. Since I posted an article not long ago about the benefits of exercise and meditation, I figured I’d toss up a video that touches on it as well. One of the solid points he brings up, and which are in line with my thoughts on the subject, is that meditation makes us less reactive. Meaning, because we are more aware of ourselves and we have more control over our emotions, we tend to be less reactive towards stimuli. Very good video and well worth the 8 minutes spent watching it.
